Lovely and very rare vintage Sweet Violet Doll by Madame Alexander, early 1950s. She's 18" tall, hard plastic with jointed arms, elbows, wrists, legs and knees. She has the Cissy Binnie face, blue eyes with a hint of violet to them, full lashes, eyes open and close well. Pretty face painting, nice hair accented with her original purple velvet hat with millinery flowers. She's wearing her original dress, panties, shoes (one shoe is missing a flower) and her beautiful violet coat with tiny buttons, coat is tagged in the back. She's a very pretty and hard to find doll.
