    Upon investigation I learned this is called a typodont. It reminds me of the toy teeth clackers from the 1960’s.
    It has a Delta Dental sticker on the back. I was familiar with them because they provide dental insurance
    I bought it as a novelty item
    It is a model of the oral cavity including teeth,gums and palate,
    A great study aid for dental students, physicians, etc.
