Description

Bulgogi is a Korean dish that literally means "fire meat". The name refers to the way the meat is prepared: marinated beef is sliced into thin strips and then roasted over a charcoal grill. Asian Home Gourmet Korean Bulgogi Marinade is an authentic, slightly sweet and spicy marinade especially for this Korean dish. The ingredients of the marinade such as ginger, soy sauce, black pepper, and sesame oil give the dish a unique Korean flavor. Serve bulgogi beef (pork and chicken variants are also possible) with a cabbage salad, kimchi and rice. Cooking Tip: To slice meat thinly, freeze meat until semi-frozen and slice with a sharp knife. Chicken or lamb may be used instead of beef.
