Classic Day-dress made for Madame Alexander Elise doll

I love dressing delicate little Elise. Using a pattern drafted from one of my original Elise dresses, I've made her this summery frock of sprigged handkerchief cotton. The fabric has been in my stash for decades, although probably isn't true 1950's vintage. I've trimmed the sleeves with tiny vintage val lace. There are all the other
requisite details--- lined bodice, hand blind stitched two inch hem, and square snaps

I've photographed dress both with a slip and without (Elise against black backdrop is wearing one of her tagged original lace slips--which is not included in this auction.) I think the frock shows beautifully without the slip--as if she were keeping cool in the hot summer months.
