Gastrok, the syringe dedicated to the horse's gastrointestinal problems, was born from the most recent discoveries in the field of phytotherapy. Many horses suffer from multifactorial gastroenteric problems, the main causes of which are: a diet too rich in starches, long transports, frequent journeys or movements and too long time breaks between one meal and another. When to use Gastrok:
Gastrok can help to solve problems of lack of appetite, postprandial pain, dull hair, excessive thinness and poor competitive performance. To ensure proper stomach health and improve its effectiveness, it is a good idea to administer Gastrok regularly to subjects predisposed to gastrointestinal problems. Gastrok can also be used as an adjuvant treatment for gastric ulcers and is a valuable ally for horses with pre-colic symptoms. Gastrok helps the bacterial microflora of the stomach to properly digest the food ration. The stomach is normally inhabited by bacteria, such as lactobacilli and streptococci, which start digesting food. When the animal is subjected to intense workloads, rations very rich in cereals, long transports and stress in general, the bacterial microflora of the stomach deteriorates, the number of lactobacillus is reduced and the functionality of the stomach worsens. As a result, the digestibility of food is reduced to total rejection of the consumption of feed and/or concentrates.

Properties of its elements:
Vegetable carbon deposits on the entire gastrointestinal mucosa, protecting it. Vegetable charcoal has long been used to reduce intestinal gas and related symptoms and has been shown to reduce abdominal cramps and borborigms in humans. Liquorice extract, already known in the pharmacopoeia of ancient Greece for its healthy qualities, is the true technological heart of Gastrok. Liquorice, in fact, naturally inhibits the excessive secretion of gastric acids, thus reducing the acidity in the stomach of the horse. In animal models, one of the active ingredients contained in liquorice, glycyrrhizin, has been shown to have an antibacterial, immunomodulating, antitoxic and healing action. Very interesting is also its use in the reduction of epigastric pain, aerophagy and meteorism.
Use and Dose:
Administer a syringe of Gastrok per day for 12-15 consecutive days: the first results will be visible after 3-4 days.
