Here we have a gorgeous OOAK (one of a kind) handmade ball gown ensemble created for the 1950's 20" tall Madame Alexander "Cissy" doll...the gown, wrap and jewelry were designed and made by me. Fabrics used by me are vintage. The gown has a pale yellow satin strapless bodice with pale yellow satin self bow at the bust. The bodice is fully lined in off-white nylon silk. The full length skirt of the gown is made of pale gold and white floral motif brocade. There is a matching shoulder wrap in the same brocade as the skirt fabric. All hems and seams have either been pinked or treated so as not to fray in any considerable amount under careful adult collector "play". The dress fastens in back with one silver metal ring style press snap. I like the vintage look and sturdiness of these snaps. Her necklace, earrings and bracelet are made from white glass pearls and clear glass crystals. Underneath the skirt, for fullness, is a full length white tulle petticoat with elastic waist encased in white satin...the petticoats are made by another person, I buy them from her in colors I need and alter them to fit the outfit I am making and the doll I am creating for. You will receive the entire ensemble shown and you will ALSO receive an appropriate "surprise" Cissy doll sized evening clutch bag in a surprise tasteful pop of color and interesting texture to compliment the ensemble...I make these on the spur of the moment after I complete an outfit, it keeps things fun and interesting that way...you surely will like it and you will not be disappointed! This is a FABULOUS outfit, it will look great on your Cissy doll! Thanks for looking!
