    This is the new vacuum switch for all Quadra-Fire pellet stoves. It has replaced the old rectangular vacuum switch, it will fit all QuadraFire pellet stoves.

    A correct working stove maintains a vacuum pressure on the air intake side, controlled by the vacuum switch. If you by-pass this switch and you stove works again, either your vacuum switch is bad, or there is no sufficient vacuum or both.

    If you simply bypass the vacuum switch, your stove may working again. But, you still DON'T have a sufficient vacuum in your burning chamber, and deadly carbon monoxide may get released into your room.
    A correct damper setting (air supply) and clean exhaust system are essential for proper operation! The burning pellets should move (wiggle) around slightly, and the flame should be bright yellow. (there are a lot more tips and instructions - included with your purchase)
