S&B Curry Golden Retort Pouch Sauce Mix – Medium Hot is a delightful flavor for all. Before, canned curry was the choice for fast meals. However, when retort pouch was introduced in 1968 based on NASA technology and further development by S&B, canned curry was quickly replaced. Retort pouches are put into hot water to warm the pre-cooked curry, which can then be eaten just like the home-made version. “Golden Curry” is made of S&B original curry powder and Japanese Curry features the rich aroma of spices and herbs. It also contains vegetables such as potatoes and carrots but not meat or meat related ingredients. No MSG added.
INSTRUCTIONS
Reheat with Boiling Water: Remove pouch from box. Place unopened pouch directly into a pot of boiling water, boil uncovered for 3-5 minutes. Carefully remove pouch from boiling water. Cut pouch open and pour contents over rice or noodles.
Reheat with Microwave Oven: Remove pouch from box. Cut pouch open and pour contents into a microwave-safe casserole. Do not microwave the pouch. The pouch is not microwave safe. Cover and cook on High for 1 minute or until hot and let stand for 30 seconds. Carefully remove casserole from microwave and serve over rice or noodles.
