SWEET BASIC LISSY DOLL BY MADAME ALEXANDER

Description

This is a basic Lissy doll by Madame Alexander in her white chemise and seamed stockings.  She is from around 1957 and is 11.5 inches tall.  She has joints at the head, shoulders, elbows,hips and knees.  She is made entirely of hard plastic and is a strung doll.  Her chemise is tagged, and the elastic in the legs has been tightened.  Her seamed stockings are in very good condition, with just a small "slub" (not yet a snag) on the outside of the stocking on her left leg.  Originally, she would have had some boudoir slippers, but I never had those.  Her brunette wig is in the factory set with the pink ribbon intact.  There are fly-aways, but  they appear less in person than in the pictures.  She has pensive blue sleep eyes.  They work well most of the time.  When they don't, lifting her head slightly will cause them to work.  My experience with Lissy dolls is that their eyes often need help opening and closing.  Also, the hard plastic tends to get little cracks around the elbow and knee joints.  This doll has some of that, and it is pictured.  Her stringing is average, and her joints work well.  She can hold poses.  Really a cute little Lissy for display or dressing.  The vanity bench she is posing on is not included.  My home is smoke free.  Listing is for USA MAINLAND BUYERS ONLY.  .45 USPS shipping.  Thank you for viewing.
