1969 VIADE Pedo Typodont Dental Model 1404 Soft Gingiva w/ Storage Case:
For years Viade has been a respected manufacturer of classic typodonts that serve as teaching aides and practice models. The
natural primary dentition consisting of 24 teeth is reproduced with an emphasis on anatomy and occlusion.These teeth are made of a non-brittle epoxy and are hard enough for use with a carbide or diamond burr. The bases are made of a semiflexible polyurethane that allows temporary movement of the teeth and also provides easy access for tooth replacement. A hard plastic hinged storage case is provided. Replacement teeth are available from the manufacturer as well as a mounting hinge which can be mounted on a bench post or manikin. Four of the molars were prepped in 1969 in dental school. The typodont has been in storage ever since.
