13" Vintage Madame Alexander HP "Rosamund Bridesmaid" Doll - 1951

This beautiful, hard to find,  (most likely) never played with, hard plastic doll is Madame Alexander's "Rosamund Bridesmaid." She was made in 1951 only and is 13" tall. She has a Maggie/Margaret face and is a walker. Her head turns as you move her legs. Her dress is 2 layers of pink netting - top is tulle, over a layer which is a little heavier than tulle, all over pink taffeta. The bodice is pink tulle over pink taffeta with cap sleeves and a ruffled sweetheart neckline. There is a small bunch of pink flowers at her waist. On her head is a wide band, that has a bunch of pink flowers on each side. Rosamund has pink satin panties, nylon stockings and center snap silk shoes. Her blonde hair is in excellent condition. I see a couple of bobby pins in the back of her hair. She is all original. No markings, which is not unusual for an Alexander doll in this era. Her face is beautiful. I see a small mark on each side of her face near her eyebrows. I see no rubs to her cheeks.  Her cheeks are  high color, and  blue eyes with long dark lashes.  Her name was inspired by the book entitled ROSAMUND by Maria Edgeworth. No box, no tags.
She appears to never been undressed so I will sell her this way.  Her dress is in excellent crisp condition without holes or rips in the netting or material.  The pink slip has some light discoloration in a some spots and the bottom could be steamed. I will let the new owner do that if it's necessary.  She displays beautifully as is.  I've not washed her face or arms.
