    Description

Madame Alexander’s 14” Little Women Doll Jo
Her pretty little face looks perfect. It is the “Maggie” face mold with round cheeks and full lips. She has full brush lashes and small hands. She is wearing a blue, green and red plaid dress with a black velvet front that has tiny white beads, white organdy collar and cuffs. It does not have its tag. The white cotton slip is attached – it has a great plaid, ruffle trim. She is wearing replaced rayon socks and replaced black side snap shoes that are missing their bows.
The bad news is that the back of her floss hair is supposed to be hanging loose. It came to me in a blob. (I bought my dolls years ago and much was not disclosed) I made a black net snood and added a black velvet bow (to match the dress front). It is similar to Marme’s snood and looks very pretty.
Also, she should have pantaloons, but instead, this Jo has lace trimmed panties.
She has a slight hard plastic odor too. I’ve kept her in the open air, not in a cabinet and I think that helps.
For some reason her eyes do not close and I don’t want to force them.
