VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY WEARING 1957 GARDENING OUTFIT

Description

This listing is for a vintage Cissy doll by Madame Alexander wearing a tagged gardening outfit from 1957.  The doll is an early painted Cissy probably from 1955 or 1956.  She is 20 inches tall and is of hard plastic except for her vinyl arms, which are jointed.  Other joints are at the head, shoulders, hips and knees.  She has a full wig of darker blonde hair in a a bob style.  Her eyes  are a blue-green, and she has all of her original brush lashes and painted ones.  Eyes open and close as they should.  Lip color and brows (very expressive) still nice, but original cheek blush has faded.  She doesn't have any cracks or splits in her hard plastic, and joints work well.  I am not her original owner, but feel pretty sure she still has her original stringing, which is fine for now.  Those things are always unpredictable.  Her orangy-red twill overalls/jumpsuit have the Cissy tag in the crotch.  The blue silk blouse was not the tagged item in the set.  Her straw hat is original, as are her gold Cissy high heels with gold foil insoles.  The elastic still has nice stretch.  She wears a pair of pantyhose under her outfit, which I have shown in the photos.  Items added are the white sunglasses and the basket of daffodils Cissy brought in from the garden.  The basket has a handle that pivots.  A sweet-looking Cissy doll that displays very well.  My home is smoke free, and this item is being offered to USA MAINLAND BIDDERS ONLY.  USPS priority shipping is .55.  Thank you for your interest.
