Vintage Madame Alexander Little Women Daughter Jo Doll 14 inches.
Lovely vintage Madame Alexander Maggie-face Jo doll with red tag. Her hair is in the original style and is very clean and tightly pulled back. Her eyes stick a bit in the closed position and when I tried to open them with the rocker inside the head they eyes opened but in an off-kilter way so someone needs to address the eyes. Should be an easy fix.
Her dress is clean and there is one small spot on left side middle of dress. Her red apron has some fading in the folds. She has her original petticoat, undergarment and shoes. I have not undressed her to inspect the body. Her arms hold a pose. Her head is a bit wobbly. She displays beautifully with the outfit retaining its fullness. Just needs to see an eye doctor!
She does not have the dreaded hard plastic smell but has been stored away and recently unearthed.
